Sports Awards
What a brilliant night of celebration we had on the 25th October at our Sports Awards. It was so nice to have our own awards at school, where we could make it cost effective for students, coaches, managers and whanau who all enjoyed the outdoor + indoor format and the yummy food from our Canteen Staff.
It is so important for us to acknowledge the many coaches and managers, mums and dads who help us make Sport happen at school. We value so much the values that come from playing sport and huge credit goes to our big team of paid and unpaid coaches + mum’s, dad’s and volunteers.
Our guest speaker Katie Duncan (120 Caps for the White Ferns, ex Hillcrest student) made a powerful speech with some valuable messages, especially around using adversity to propel you forward towards success and your life goals.
