With the outstanding success of our Cricket program last season, it has been difficult to keep our young players out of the nets over the winter. There is a real buzz around cricket at school and our first winter skills sessions (Friday’s after school) have been well attended.
The Commonwealth Games has highlighted the amazing opportunities for Women and Girls Cricketers as a real pathway exists to play and enjoy the game at all levels. Hillcrest has a proud history of success with Girls and Boys cricketers, and we look forward to the exciting developments over the coming summer.
