Futsal continues to be a popular sport at Hillcrest and as one of our Tier One Sports, we are proud to have a quality program that is building in numbers and performance. With 12 teams across the Junior and Senior seasons, we have seen some real growth in the Junior area which is exciting for the next couple of years.
Our Boys and Girls seniors went to Nationals in Wellington and while the final placings were not as the players and coaches hoped for, the experience for our young teams will prove so valuable.
A huge thanks goes to our awesome young coaches Olivia, Sean and Davis who all made the trip to Wellington Nationals and were outstanding in their commitment to trainings and games all season. Also to Luke Ashby who took on the Head of Code for the first time, thank you Luke – your passion and dedication is awesome and so appreciated by all.
