Over the recent term break, Janet Guo participated in the New Zealand Biology Olympiad. This is a national programme of learning that began in August 2021 with hundreds of students and was then narrowed down to the top 24 who participated recently in the 10 day camp, supported by Otago University. Highlights include marine biology on the Otago research vessel, the Polaris, Plant Ecology with international experts and hundreds of learning opportunities as part of a supportive scientific community.
Janet worked very hard and has been selected as part of the team of 4 to represent New Zealand at the International Biology Competition hosted by Armenia in July. If anyone would like to support Janet and the team in their journey donations would be gratefully received here.
