On Wednesday 15th June, Hillcrest High held the annual Blood Drive in the gym. It was very successful with an incredible amount of generous students and staff donating their blood. Run by our Yr 12 Sociology classes, there were refreshments and kind nurses that helped every step of the way.
By filling all appointment slots we were able to send off over 40 litres of blood to help those in need around the country through NZ Blood!
You can make a difference in the wider community by making an appointment through https://www.nzblood.co.nz/ to donate in a nearby clinic.
