Staff Success – Whaea Niki National Touch Champion

Hillcrest High School is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our very own teacher, Whaea Niki, who recently competed in the Bunnings National Touch Championship in Rotorua.

The tournament, held from March 8th to 10th, saw some of New Zealand’s top touch rugby talent battling it out for the coveted national title. Whaea Niki proudly represented the Waikato team. They dominated the competition, going undefeated and securing a well-deserved victory in the final against Counties/Manukau with a score of 10-5.
