Valentines Day 2024

The beginning of any year is not known for being easy, laid back and simple, and this year was no exception. Valentine’s Day descended on Hillcrest with warmth, heart, joy and piles of roses, delivered around to students who had a rose bought for them.

 The entire student-lead leadership team put on their best angel wings and fairy dress to make the delivering of the roses as fun of an event as possible, dancing their way around the school blasting everyone’s favourite valentines tunes.

A large thank you goes out to all the people who partook in the day by buying roses, without your support the whole event would not be possible.

The party raged onward at lunchtime, where the arts captains, Amira and Jasmine, has organised a spectacular valentine’s day concert, featuring musical talent from the likes of Miya Dulligal, Lucie McDonnell, Jenna Stephenson, Ashley Buckley and Ashlee Dreadon, as well as some singing from Arts Captain Amira Stephenson and guitar from Head Student Alex Mathieson.
