Wānanga Paneke

If your taitamaiti has taken te reo Māori in Year 9 or 10 this year, or is in Junior Whānau, you should have received an email about the Wānanga Paneke that is happening on the 9th of December at Masters House.

The focus of this wānanga is growth and whanaungatanga. We would also like to extend the invitation to whānau for the mihi whakatau and morning session, which will focus on the pūrākau of our tūpuna – perhaps you have some that you would like to share with your tamariki?

This wānanga will take place at the Masters House, which is across the road from our kura. The mihi whakatau will begin at 9am, with the poroporoaki ending our day at approximately 3.20pm. 

To ensure that we have enough resources and kai for everyone, please e-mail Ms Hamilton at ha@hillcrest-high.school.nz by the 30th of November to let them know if your child will be attending, and whether any whānau will be joining them.
