On Thursday 12th March, Mayesa, Suhani, Aqib, Adelina and Khadija attended the Waikato Leadership Academy Launch Day.
They learned a lot about how no single badge or fancy title dictates whether or not we are leaders, because we undoubtedly all are! With students from over 10 schools from across the Waikato present, our students had a great time talking to everyone about how leadership looks in everyday life. The key takeaway was that regardless of your knowledge or background, the one trait a leader should have is courage: the courage to make decisions, be honest, and most importantly, to lead by example!
