Hillcrest High School recently competed in the Secondary School Nationals for Ultimate Frisbee.
Led by the schools two Ultimate superstars Finn Collins and Will Hamilton they brought down a team of 5 players, half the recommended team size.
Pool Play saw the Badgers take down Whakatane High School and Takapuna Grammar before having to default to Auckland Grammar due to injury. The boys took care of Wellington College in the quarters before holding Hamilton Christian School at bay in the semi finals before losing 15-5 in the final in a valiant effort against Auckland Grammar.
With no subs for the two day tournament they battled their way to second place, an achievement we are extremely proud of.
