As we move into the next few weeks of Term 4, there are a number of key celebrations and events that bring our school community together to acknowledge the achievements and milestones of our students.

The coming weeks are a special time on our calendar as we celebrate success, recognise effort, and reflect on the year that has been. Below is a summary of the key dates to help whānau stay informed and involved as we finish the year together.

Senior Prize Giving
Wednesday 29 October | 1:00pm | JL Gym

Our Senior Prize Giving is a special occasion that acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of our ākonga across academic, cultural, sporting, and leadership pursuits. It is a moment to recognise hard work, perseverance, and excellence, and to come together as a community to celebrate success.

All Year 11–13 students are expected to attend Senior Prize Giving.

  • Year 11–12 students are to wear full, correct school uniform

  • Year 13 students are to dress in formal attire

School will finish at the end of Period 3 (12:00pm) for Year 9 and 10 students.

We warmly invite parents, caregivers, and whānau to join us as we celebrate another successful year at Hillcrest High School.
