Te Pikikotuku went on an experience where the primary focus was to strengthen the confidence, motivation and leadership qualities of our young waahine. This was done through a Te Ao Maaori me one tikanga approach. The theme was the Waikato River, where the girls developed a good understanding of the river and its several elements. Furthermore, the experience gave the girls an understanding of many Maori concepts in a variety of contexts. We visited great places where the girls learnt a vast amount of knowledge and experienced life changing moments.
