Congratulations to Lily WIlson (Sheppard) in Yr 9 who has been awarded Student of the Week for Term 3 Week 7.
Year 9 student Lily Wilson has been recognised as our Student of the Week for Term 3, Week 7 after taking on the huge challenge of refereeing at the prestigious AIMS Games. As the youngest referee in her group, Lily displayed maturity, resilience, and strength of character well beyond her years.
The AIMS Games are highly competitive, and Lily faced some tough moments with pressure from coaches and supporters on the sidelines. Despite this, she remained composed, confident in her decisions, and focused on ensuring fair play.
Her ability to stay calm under pressure is a testament to her growth and passion for the game. Lily’s commitment to refereeing and her strong sense of purpose are inspiring, proving that age is no barrier when determination and integrity lead the way.
We are proud to celebrate Lily’s achievements and look forward to seeing her continue to progress along the referee pathway.
