Congratulations to Harlem Whiu (Rutherford) in Yr 11 who has been awarded Student of the Week for Term 3 Week 5.
Harlem has shown initiative and thoughtfulness over the past two weeks by going out of his way to collect laptops from the library for his class’s NCEA assessment. This was not something he was asked to do, he recognised the need and stepped up on his own.
His actions have supported both his teacher and classmates, demonstrating genuine service and care. Harlem’s willingness to take the lead is a fantastic example of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga in action.
We are proud to recognise Harlem as our Student of the Week for the way he has displayed leadership through quiet service and initiative.
