Congratulations to Sanidi Fernando (Snell) Yr 12 who is our Student of the Week for Term 3 Week 2.
Sanidi has been an inspiring volunteer since Year 9, starting in the school’s Kai Kitchen providing breakfast for students and their whānau. Her passion for helping others has grown to include tutoring, teaching ballet at the K Centre, and volunteering with the Red Cross shop, The Serve Trust, and Volunteering Waikato’s Christmas Gift Wrapping fundraiser.
Sanidi’s motivation comes from the joy she sees in others and the reward of making a difference, whether it’s serving a warm meal or lending a hand in the community. She encourages other students to start volunteering early, not just for credits or experience, but to discover the power of helping others.
