Congratulations to Harlow Wallace, our Student of the Week for Term 1, Week 7. Harlow has been recognised for the positive energy, commitment, and leadership she brings to her Year 9 Physical Education class.
Harlow has been an incredibly supportive and enthusiastic member of the class during both the Fitness Testing and Athletics units. She consistently looks for ways to help others and is often the first to volunteer when support is needed.
During recent athletics activities, Harlow took on the role of timekeeper for the agility testing, helping ensure everything ran smoothly while also encouraging and motivating her classmates to give their best. Her willingness to step up and support others has helped create a positive and inclusive class environment.
Harlow has also generously given extra time after school to help pack away athletics equipment, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the team.
In lessons, Harlow always puts in her best effort and approaches each activity with enthusiasm. She showed particular skill and determination during the discus and javelin events, standing out across the Year 9 Physical Education cohort.
Harlow’s positivity, work ethic, and willingness to support those around her make her a very deserving recipient of this week’s award.
Student of the Week is proudly supported by our school sponsor, McDonald’s Parry Group of Restaurants — 5 Cross Roads, Hamilton East, and Chartwell. We thank them for their ongoing support in recognising and celebrating our students.
