Congratulations to Kevin Chen and Lochlan Jury, our Students of the Week, recognised for their outstanding contribution to our recent school production of The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Kevin and Lochlan were recommended by Mrs Webber to take on the important role of photography for the production, and both students showed exceptional commitment, respect, and perseverance throughout the process. In preparation for the production, they gave up their weekends to attend rehearsals so they could fully understand the play and capture the best possible moments during performance day.
On the day of the Production Day, Kevin and Lochlan took thousands of photos of the cast and crew, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event was documented professionally. Throughout the day, they showed maturity and respect towards staff and students, while demonstrating resilience and focus in what was a long and demanding role.
Their dedication meant that the hard work of everyone involved in the production could be captured and celebrated, and we are very fortunate to have such talented and committed students supporting the arts at our school.
Kevin and Lochlan’s willingness to give their time, effort, and skills for the benefit of others makes them very deserving recipients of this week’s award.
