On Wednesday of Week 1, we finally held the delayed Senior Student Planning day for our Year 13 Senior Student Leaders (SSL). The event was held across the road at the Master’s House venue. Sessions were led by a team from Hauora Waikato, plus Year 13 Deans Ms Raleigh and Mr Groom and Deputy Principal Mrs Williams, guiding the students to dream big and then turn that into a strategic plan of things they would like to achieve for the rest of the year.
Our SSL loved being together for the day and having the time to really think deeply about what they would like to be involved in help making happen before they farewell Hillcrest at the end of the year. Fun activities, group work and discussion led to a successful and enjoyable day.
