Schools’ Pride Week 2024

This Pride week was eventful, to say the least. We ran many activities throughout the week including hair and make-up workshops, badge making, face painting, ribbon making, a shared afternoon tea, and a movie afternoon.

These activities were a fun way for us to express ourselves and encourage others to join in with the activities to show their support! Unfortunately, much like previous years, we faced increased rates of homophobia and transphobia around the school with our Pride flag being stolen at the start of the week. While we wish that this had not happened and that we could all feel safe during Pride week, we are grateful for the support of teachers and SLT who reinstalled another Pride flag and showed true allyship to our community.
