Although originally intended for presentation at the Sports Awards, we were delighted to take the opportunity during Prize Giving to acknowledge the Smith family – Michelle, Antony, Amy, Kyle, Nathan, and Liam, whose contribution to Hillcrest sport spans more than a decade.
Their legacy is grounded in leadership and service:

Michelle has been the driving force behind basketball and volleyball administration.

Antony has served as coach in both cricket and volleyball, supporting multiple teams and age groups.

Together, they have provided vital support to four major sports codes.
Their children — Amy, Kyle, Nathan, and Liam have collectively represented Hillcrest High School in an extraordinary range of sports: cricket, rugby, volleyball, basketball, squash, tennis, hockey, netball, athletics, and football. They have not only participated but led, modelling commitment, passion, and excellence.
Their influence is embedded in Hillcrest’s sporting culture. For their outstanding and sustained contribution, we presented the Smith family with a framed Hillcrest volleyball shirt as a symbol of our immense gratitude.
To the Smith family, thank you for your loyalty, leadership, and the legacy you leave behind. You have set an inspiring benchmark for our future athletes.
