RAPID Relay Kicks Off House Competition in Style!

The first House Competition of the year, the highly anticipated RAPID Relay, saw students sprinting through the school grounds in an exciting race for house glory.

With 10 runners per house—one boy and one girl from each year level—teamwork, endurance, and determination were on full display. The atmosphere was electric as students and staff lined the course, cheering on their houses and showing incredible school spirit.

A huge congratulations to Te Puea, who were the 2024 House Champions and secured 1st place with an impressive performance! Head Student Shanti McKoy crossed the line for Te Puea some distance in front of 2nd place. Rutherford followed behind in 2nd, with Hillary taking 3rd, Snell in 4th, and Sheppard finishing in 5th.

It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved, whether by running, cheering, or supporting their teammates. The House Competition is now well underway, and with House Sports Day coming up next, the battle for house supremacy is just beginning.
