Māori Success Evening took place on the 23rd of October and was a night to celebrate the achievements of our ākonga Māori, supported by their friends and whānau.
A rousing performance from our kapa haka rōpū kicked off the evening, followed by a kōrero by one of our inspirational Year 13 students, Kyah Faiers. Inspirational ākonga was the theme of the evening, and we also heard from our Manukura, Natalia Meek and Year 12 student, Zy-Bella Hart.
Celebrating the success of our rangatahi also means celebrating the achievements of our whānau and kura, and it was lovely to see whānau getting up with the students who had won our major awards of the evening.
