Our first Level 2 Business Studies Market Day of the year was a buzzing hub of entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and teamwork! The event featured 17 student-run stalls showcasing an impressive range of products – and plenty of tasty treats!
From cake pops and brookies (a delicious brownie-cookie hybrid!) to freshly made waffles and savoury bites, there was something to tempt every palate. The mouth-watering aromas drew in a steady crowd of students and staff eager to support our budding young businesspeople.
What made this Market Day particularly exciting was the diversity of products on offer. For the first time in recent years, we saw more than just food stalls. Three groups branched out into handmade jewellery and custom key chains, giving customers a wider selection and showing off their creativity and eye for design.
It was fantastic to see our ākonga putting their business knowledge into practice – from product development and pricing to promotion and customer service. The energy was high, and the learning was real!
Missed it? Don’t worry! Our second Market Day is just around the corner – mark your calendars for Friday 28th June.
Keep an eye out for upcoming promotional material and come along to support our talented students once again. Ka rawe, Level 2 Business students – we can’t wait to see what you bring to the next event!
