Congratulations to International Student Laurinda Lan who has successfully auditioned for a place in the New Zealand Youth Symphonic Winds, the premier Secondary Student Concert Band in New Zealand. She has just received confirmation of her success and will now be included in the winter course.
The group brings the best secondary school student wind, brass and percussion students together, to collaborate, learn and develop. There is now an intensive rehearsal and concert process, with education from some of the music industry’s leading educators and performers.
Laurinda will travel to Christchurch in July to join up with the group.
