Korean Teachers’ Association visit

Last week Hillcrest hosted a group of 25 high school future principals from the Republic of Korea who were in NZ to find out about our education system.

After an introduction by Mrs. Collett, Deputy Principal, they were shown around the school. The group were very jealous of our sports fields (real grass) and surprised to find out that students have only  five classes a day and had such a wide choice of subjects.  

A big 감사합니다 (gam sa ham ni da) to Ms. Hooper and Mr. Shin and Seny Kang, Eui In Shin, Hannah Park, Jenna Song and Michelle Hyun,  for being such welcoming, informative and confident ambassadors for Hillcrest High School.
