Introducing our new Cultural Diversity Facilitator

Kia Ora everyone, It’s me Fazeel Aqil, back at my alma mater, stepping back into these familiar hallways, but this time as your Cultural Diversity Facilitator.

At 22 years old and with roots from Pakistan, I’m excited to bring my passion for inclusivity to our school. Together, let’s make Hillcrest a place where diversity isn’t just acknowledged, but embraced, and where every individual feels like they truly belong.

For the next year, I will be working with our migrant and former refugee students to help them navigate through their time at our school, feel free to come say hi or don’t be shy to come talk to me.
