The ILC had a fantastic day out at Hamilton Gardens! We were very lucky with fabulous winter weather—sunny skies and temperatures that were just right for exploring.
Students worked in small groups to navigate the gardens using maps and complete a scavenger hunt. The day provided wonderful opportunities to practise community participation, mindfulness, observation, navigation and teamwork skills, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
After our lunch, some students enjoyed a game of soccer while others relaxed and soaked up the warm winter sunshine. It was a wonderful day of learning, exploring and enjoying time together outdoors.
