On an overcast Thursday, ILC and PAC students went to Matamata for the annual Special Olympics Soccer.
While serious, grey clouds gathered on the slopes of the nearby Kaimai ranges, we were lucky with the weather and had the whole day just right to enjoy a series of riveting football games.
Our students trained hard in PE to acquire the necessary skills for the day. We would like to show our appreciation to Mr Hay and Mr Bruce by thanking them for the effort made. Without them, we would not have been able to display such honed skills!
Several parents came to watch their tamariki on the field and cheered enthusiastically. We distinguished ourselves remarkably well, rising to the spirit of the occasion, and came back to school with the satisfaction of a job well done.
