House Sports Day

House Sports Day

Tags :

On Monday 23 February, students headed to Porritt Stadium for our annual House Sports Day, and it certainly did not disappoint.

The stadium was filled with colour, noise, and an incredible sense of house pride from start to finish.

From the first events of the day to the final relays, students gave their all. Whether competing in track races, field events, or cheering from the sidelines, the level of participation and enthusiasm was outstanding. It was fantastic to see so many students stepping outside their comfort zones, supporting one another, and embracing the friendly rivalry that makes House Sports Day such a highlight of the school calendar.

A big thank you must go to our house captains, student helpers, staff officials, and everyone who contributed to the smooth running of the day. Events like this rely on teamwork behind the scenes, and their efforts ensured the day was both competitive and enjoyable for all.

Congratulations to Hillary House for taking out the overall win for 2026! Their consistency, participation, and team spirit across the day saw them finish on top in a closely contested competition.

Most importantly, the day was a celebration of school spirit, community, and the positive energy that sport brings to our school. If this is how we’re starting the sporting year, it’s going to be a good one.
