Hilly Scribes (HHS Writers’ Group) welcomed guest speaker poet Nadia Hineaorangi Solomon to speak with us today.
She encouraged and inspired our young writers to give everything a go, from entering writing competitions, to going to the Kirikiriroa Open Mic events which Nadia helps organise at Rototuna & Hamilton central libraries.
We also hatched a plan to collaborate together & produce a Hilly Scribes Zine for this year’s Kirikiriroa Zinefest 2025 next month. Watch this space!
