A Day of Sunshine, Spirit, and Speed
After an initial postponement due to severe weather, the much-anticipated 2025 Hillcrest High School Cross Country event took place on Monday 12th of May at Jansen Park—this time under perfect, sunny skies. With an impressive 547 students taking part, the afternoon was filled with energy, competition, and plenty of house pride.

The day was structured in stages, beginning with the junior competitive runners, who raced 3km.

Each recipient will receive a voucher to spend at one of the Parry Group’s Restaurants.
House Fun Run/Walk
The competitive races were followed by the House Fun Run/Walk, where students, staff, and PAC participants completed a single lap of the course. It was fantastic to see house colours and hear the cheers from around the park as participants racked up vital house points.
