Hillcrest High School Announces Sponsorship Agreement with Parry Group of McDonald’s Restaurants Hamilton

Hillcrest High School is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with the Parry Group of McDonald’s Restaurants Hamilton, covering their Five Cross Roads, Hamilton East, and Chartwell locations.

This partnership marks an exciting collaboration between our kura and a well-respected local business committed to supporting the community.

Owners Rob and Linley Parry, bring a deep passion for both business and community engagement. “Rob and I have been working under the Golden Arches since we were at high school in Palmerston North. We both started off as Crew People and have worked our way through all of the Management Development Courses that McDonald’s has to offer. Rob has almost achieved 40 years (November this year), and I have just had my 35-year celebration at the start of March this year,”said Linley Parry.

“We really enjoy being part of our community as we not only get to meet new people and learn what is going on around us, but we like to support a variety of groups in an effort to see more people get bigger and better opportunities,” Linley added.

As part of this sponsorship, the Parry Group of McDonald’s Restaurants Hamilton will be supporting initiatives within Hillcrest High School as well as the Football programme which is now under the direction of Head of Boys Football former All White Mike Groom and Head of Girls Football Greg Hobson. “We are delighted to be sponsoring Football. Both our sons played to a high level, and we look forward to being on the sidelines and seeing Hillcrest play well. We are truly thrilled to be part of the Hillcrest High School community and look forward to building on this relationship in the years and years to come. Watch this space!” said Rob Parry.

Hillcrest High School Principal Christine Williams expressed gratitude for the partnership, saying, “We are incredibly grateful for the support from Rob and Linley. Their commitment to our kura and our students is invaluable, and we look forward to working together to create meaningful opportunities for our young people both on and off the field.”

This sponsorship marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between Hillcrest High School and the Parry Group of McDonald’s Restaurants Hamilton, fostering opportunities for students to thrive in both sport and the wider school community.
