Hillcrest 1st XI Coach on Sky TV UK

Some of you will have followed the achievements of New Zealand Men’s Football Captain Chris Wood this season in the English Premier League. He is currently the third-highest goal scorer with 18 goals for high flying Nottingham Forest.
Sky Sports UK recently reached out to his former coach from Hamilton for input on a 10 minute mini-documentary about Chris’s rise to stardom. That coach happens to be the current coach of Hillcrest 1st XI Boys Football team and Premier Boys Futsal – the legendary Mr. Michael Groom.
Mike’s comments at the start and his final remarks at the end highlight Chris’s inspiration to young people in New Zealand, showing that it is possible to reach for these heights and attain them!
With Mike being in charge of our 1st XI we look forward to seeing what he can inspire from our players.
