We’re incredibly excited to announce that Hillcrest High School alumni and TV3 News presenter, Laura Tupou, will be joining us as our Guest Speaker at this year’s Senior Prize Giving!
Laura was a proud Hillcrest student from 2004–2007, performing with the SCAT Choir on international tour, competing in rowing, volleyball and netball, and helping form one of our first Pasifika groups. During her time here she sparked a lifelong love of storytelling that has led her to a remarkable career in journalism.
From classrooms in Hamilton to the national news desk, Laura has remained passionate about people, purpose, and making a difference, values that reflect the very heart of Hillcrest.
We can’t wait to welcome her back home to share her story, insights, and advice with our graduating class of 2025.
