With 2 rounds to go our 1st XI are having an excellent season and are leading the 1A Waikato SS competition. With a well-balanced bowling attack, Hillcrest are proving to be a team who are tough to score against. With quality pace of the likes of Captain Nico Bullah, Hemanth Akula & Finn Roche, the swing of Saber Khawrin and the wizardry spin of Bakhtullah Khawrin, Michael Hamilton & Nathan Smith, Hillcrest have been dominated every batting line up in the competition. While bowling has been a super strength, our team are working hard on their fielding & batting to become an even better team next year as all current squad members will be back.
We look forward to welcoming some young talented year 9’s to our cricket program in Term 1. We have some exciting things planned including a Free Junior Camp for all Hillcrest Juniors in the last week of holidays.
