On Monday 19 May, Tuesday 20 May, and Tuesday 27 May, Hillcrest High School will be administering the NZQA literacy and numeracy common assessment activities (CAA).

The CAAs are necessary co requisites for NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3. Students are not eligible for an NCEA qualification until they have passed the CAAs .

In order to have rooms available to accommodate the CAAs, and to ensure we have an adequate number of invigilators available, we are asking Year 12 and Year 13 students to engage in off-site online learning on the following days:

Monday 19 May

Y13 are to stay home and engage in off-site online learning;

Tuesday 20 May

Y12 are to stay home and engage in off-site online learning;

Tuesday 27 May

Y13 are to stay home and engage in off-site online learning.
