On Monday 23rd of June the Combined Orchestra performed for the school in the Auditorium.
They performed to mark a special milestone and presented the newly revitalized Hillcrest High School Orchestra, which combined the talents of the HHS string players and concert band.
The performance celebrated teamwork, growth, and creative expression – and reflected the dedication our young musicians have at Hillcrest High.
They played a dynamic mix of classical, traditional, and contemporary works including Palladio – Karl Jenkins

Hine e Hine – Fanny Howie (Princess Te Rangi Pai)
Coldplay on Stage (Clock, Lost, Vida la Vida) – arranged by Michael Brown
How to Train Your Dragon – John Powell, arranged by Sean O’Loughlin.
It was a fantastic performance and we are so proud of everyone involved.
