Chamber Concert band performance!

The Hillcrest High School Concert band and the Pop Ensemble performed at lunchtime on Thursday 8th of August

The concert band will be taking part in the annual ITM Festival held at the University on Friday 23rd of August.

They performed Abba On Broadway

A stellar medley of hits such as I Have a Dream; Mamma Mia; S.O.S.; Knowing Me, Knowing You; The Winner Takes It All and Dancing Queen.

Hillcrest Pop orchestra performed When You Believe from “Prince of Egypt”  Stephen Schwartz Featuring wonderful vocal solos (3 part harmony) from Sarah Stevens, Diana Han and Dilni Ranmadugala

The Pop Orchestra also performed Nostalgia

This lyrical, joyous, and hopeful music transports the listener to a place of harmonic bliss.

and finally the Hillcrest Concert Band performed Choose Joy by Randall Standridge

This is Inspired by a high school student who found happy moments even in the face of cancer!

All of the students performed fantastically and we wish them the best of luck for the ITM competition!
