Big Sing Competiton

Our choir Hillcrest High Notes competed at the Waikato/BOP Big Sing in Tauranga on Thursday 13th of June and were awarded a highly commended, which is a fantastic achievement for their first time at the event.

Director Jayne Tankersley said that the ensemble ‘performed with flair and confidence, and performed to the large crowd with an ease that is not often seen in debut choirs’. Congratulations to all the students involved, directors Jayne Tankersley and Mrs Kathleen Tay and HOD Mervyn Cook.
