The 2025 Arts Captains Max Brazendale, Madeline Molloy and Annabelle Waters created and organised many Arts related events throughout the week of the 28th of June till the 1st of August.
They started with a bang on Monday hyping up the school with a fun opening parade at interval and at lunch was Students vs Teachers Theatresports – a chance for the teachers to get out of their comfort zone and have some fun!
On Tuesday, there was a Visual Arts showcase. A chance for the school to see what the Visual Artists at the school have been working on and for the artists to exhibit their work. This was well attended by students and teachers alike.
Wednesday brought a lot of fun and laughter with Karaoke at interval and lunch as well as some guest singers Diana Han, Miya Duligall and Talei Dowdeswell who blew us all away with their beautiful singing.
Thursday saw our Visual Arts teachers compete against each other in a Speed Drawing and Pictionary event in the library, with our annual Talentcrest event in the evening featuring 11 student acts.
Finally on Friday, we finished off with some Jump Jam at interval and at lunch the teachers were challenged to dance up a storm in Dancing with the Staff, where a student and a staff member were paired up to choreograph and perform a dance!
Overall it was a fantastic week celebrating the Arts, looking forward to it next year!
