Andrew lives in Tokyo, Japan, where he is an Assistant Principal at an international school. Previous to Japan, he lived and worked in the UK, Switzerland, and Qatar since leaving New Zealand in 2005
Andrew has fond memories of his time at Hillcrest. He describes it as giving him a wide range of experiences – academic, sports, outdoors, which enabled him to make a great group of friends, many of which Andrew is still in touch with today.
A teacher that had a big impact on Andrew was Mrs. Brown, his 7th form (Yr 13) English Teacher. Mrs. Brown went out of her way to build a love of literature and all things English.
