This term we have had two new additions to our Senior Leadership Team and Accounts Department. Debbie Forsyth has joined the Senior Leadership Team as Business Manager and Leonie Griffiths has started in the role as the Finance and Payroll Officer. Find out about them below:

Debbie Forsyth:

I grew up in Auckland, lived for around 15 years in the far north – both beachside at Ahipara and then in Kerikeri and then returned for 4 years to Auckland while our two daughters finished their high school. While back in Auckland, I worked as the Business Manager at Mount Albert Grammar and loved working in a school setting. This led to me working there for 6 1/2 years, during which time we  moved to Tamahere and I commuted to Auckland during the week. After 4 years of juggling traffic and COVID lockdowns I decided it was time to find a role here in the Waikato. I was delighted when the role of Business Manager at Hillcrest High school came up and at the chance to be back in a school. The staff here have been so welcoming and I am looking forward to being part of the school community.

Leonie Griffiths:

Leonie is the new Finance and Payroll Officer, she has previously held various finance and accounting positions in the commercial sector, including as an auditor with KPMG. Her industry experience includes a large FMCG, online food retailer and most recently farming and biotechnology. Leonie is looking forward to learning about the education sector in her new role. Leonie, her partner and two primary aged children live on a lifestyle block in Matangi.
