Congratulations to PE & Health Teacher and Head of Sports Development Mr. Gerard Hay who completed the Coast to Coast on Saturday 12th February.
The race starts on the West Coast, at Kumara Beach and traverses the width of the South Island, crossing the main divide and finishing on the East Coast with the finish at the Pier on New Brighton Beach in Christchurch. The event has a 2.2km run, 55km bike, another 33km mountain run, 115km cycle, 30km kayak finished off with a final 15km on the bike.
Mr. Hay completed the event in 14:21:09. A huge congratulations.
