SCAT rocks the quarry
In mid-February this year, the Hillcrest High School Scat Choir performed a concert in the magical setting of the Waitakaruru Sculpture Park. In the early evening sunshine the appreciative audience were entertained by the fantastic Scat Choir, the immensely talented Sam Franicevic on guitar and the Acasa Quartet featuring the beautiful vocals of former Hillcrest student Sarah Radford.

The concert was a highly successful fundraiser for our upcoming Scat Tour to Thailand and Malaysia in July. During the tour, Scat will be performing at the 2011 International Rainforest Festival in Sarawak. Many thanks to our supportive audience, to our sponsors United Cleaning, Opus Consultants, John West and Bidvest, and to Mrs Radford and Mr Cook for organising such an enjoyable occasion.
