Care and support for International Students

The Principal, Mr K Whiting, is actively involved in the welfare of our international students. He is assisted by the International Student Director, Mrs Raelyne Selby who is responsible for pastoral care and homestay requirements.

Regular meetings are held with students and involvement in all aspects of the school is encouraged. The International Concert is an annual event which, along with school trips and social events, assists with the integration of international students into the school community.

The English as a Second language (ESOL) Department caters for students from Y9-13 who require support with their English. A Foundation programme operates for students who require extra language tuition. It offers more intensive instruction enabling students to move into mainstream classes once they reach the required level.Mrs Rae Selby (Dir of International Students) and Mr K Whiting (Principal)
